Classic Mystique flooring from Polyflor has been used to create a geometric design at a new STEM learning centre at Havering College of Further and Higher Education in Hornchurch.
Contractor Neil Handley installed vinyl flooring from the company’s Classic Mystique PUR range in the Havering Innovation in Science, Engineering and Technology Hub (Hi-SET Hub).
Out of the 16 colours available in the range, three complementary grey shades – Nocturne, Quartz and Smokestone – were chosen to create a striking geometric design; bright furniture from Rapid Office Systems was specified to complete the installation.
Water jet technology was used to cut the sheet vinyl flooring prior to delivery: this allowed for on-site assembly at Havering College. With this technology, Polyflor’s Design Service team can produce a wealth of shapes, patterns and logos from its flooring products.
The Classic Mystique range is enhanced with Polyflor’s polyurethane reinforcement, PUR, which is cross-linked and UV cured to provide cleaning and maintenance benefits. Classic Mystique products also contain recycled content, making them completely recyclable via the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme.
The range has been individually certified with a BRE Global A+ rating for education environments.
