Japanese food supplier specifies Saracen for London office fit out

  • 6 Jul 2016

In the past decade, Saracen Interiors has developed into a national full service enterprise, working across a wide range of commercial projects, from large-scale office fit outs to facilities management contracts. For it’s latest project, Saracen completed a £65,000 office fit out in Edgware for Japanese food company, Nihon Shokken.

The fit out covered 4,000 square foot of office space at Camrose House. The work was completed within six weeks as a fast-track project for the new client.

The refurbishment included the installation of partitioning to create a kitchen, meeting room, manager’s office and cloak room, with new carpeting and floor coverings throughout, including laminate in the kitchen area. Each space was fitted and decorated, and basic plumbing and electrics were installed to meet the agreed specifications.

Communication is key

Communication was key for a successful outcome on the project, as Saracen worked closely with the client throughout from the early planning stages to ensure that the brief was properly translated and to make sure that all of Nihon Shokken’s needs were met.

Michael Page, managing director of Saracen Interiors, explained: “We maintained a tight working relationship with the client to check that they were happy with the decisions taken and the progress made at every step. We’re pleased to have been able to maintain our high record of customer satisfaction in fulfilling this brief.”

Kosuke Hosokawa, head of UK Property for Nihon Shokken, adds: “Saracen worked hard to keep costs down, meeting the restrictions imposed by our budget and the time allocation set. Nihon Shokken is happy with the outcome and we have enjoyed working with such a conscientious and reliable team.”
