The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) has launched a new ‘Triple Glazing Guide’ for installers and manufacturers.

The use of triple glazing has been on the ascent for several years, with factors such as a greater demand from consumers, and architects and building designers specifying larger areas of glazing driving their growth, as well as an increased awareness of their thermal benefits.
The new guide considers the key benefits associated with triple glazing including thermal performance, acoustic performance, IGU and frame design and specification. It also covers manufacturing requirements, the effects on distribution and installation and the possible effects on optical and visual quality.
GGF technical director Steve Rice described the ‘Triple Glazing Guide’ as an “essential guidance document” that would further stimulate the manufacture, supply and installation of triple glazing.
The guide is available to download for free from the Members Area of the GGF website. Printed copies can be ordered from the GGF shop, with a special discount available for GGF Members.
