Gatic Slotdrain CastSlot

Slotdrain channels specified for business park development

  • 30 Aug 2016

Gatic’s Slotdrain channels – PaveSlot and CastSlot – have been specified to provide surface water management for a new Andover-based business park.

Having worked with Gatic on several large projects, Winvic Construction selected CastSlot and PaveSlot for use in the £11.6 million development.

The project was completed earlier this year, in close partnership with TR Collier. Gatic was on hand to provide technical support whenever necessary; its team ensured employees were available for site visits or contactable via other communications.

Boasting a robust composition, Gatic CastSlot was specified to provide surface water management under the strain of heavy loads and frequent traffic. The Slotdrain system has been designed with a hexagonal profile; each piece slots together seamlessly, eliminating the need for additional bolts or fittings.

Manufactured from galvanised steel, CastSlot benefits from a ductile iron top. Meanwhile, Gatic PaveSlot was recommended to provide a discreet finish in the paved car park areas.
