Campbell Mason has won a contract to install over 2,000 REHAU TOTAL70R flush fitting fully reversible windows in a group of high-rise blocks of flats, situated in Stoke on Trent.
Stoke City Council has issued a complete refurbishment to ensure that the five blocks, located in Bucknall New Road, are made more thermally efficient. The 11 storey buildings will benefit from new roofs, windows and external wall insulation.
REHAU TOTAL70R
Boasting an impressive thermal performance and flush fitting aesthetics, REHAU’s TOTAL70R reversible windows were incorporated into the design. The company’s Commercial Sales Manager, Steve Tonkiss, worked closely with the project surveyors, Faithful and Gould, to ensure the specification.
Subsequently, Campbell Mason won a competitive tender – which was issued by the project’s main contractors, Kier – to take on responsibility for the installation programme. The Worcester-based company has worked on a range of high-rise projects throughout the Midlands region.
The REHAU TOTAL70R windows are being fabricated by Tradelink. Work has already begun on site; Stoke City Council predicts completion by 2019.
