The A. Proctor Group’s Procheck 300 has been specified to provide vapour control at three new Holland Green apartment buildings.
Based where the former Commonwealth Institute once stood, the Holland Green development encircles the proposed new site of the Design Museum. It offers a contemporary residential space, benefiting from modern architecture and views across Holland Park.
Procheck 300 was specified to provide condensation control at the new development. Martifer Metallic Constructions was contracted to install the vapour control layer in conjunction with 2,200 square metres of aluminium curtain walling.
Vapour control
Designed to prevent warm air from escaping interiors and condensing within a building’s insulation, Procheck 300 is compatible for use in both wall and roof constructions. By maintaining a consistent level of moisture resistance, it works to reduce the risks of condensation.
By using the system to manage water vapour, the fabric of each apartment block at Holland Green will be protected; the occupants will also benefit from a healthier living environment.
