Boulevard 7000 barrier carpet

Gradus launches barrier carpet for commercial applications

  • 14 Sep 2016

Gradus has announced the launch of its latest secondary barrier carpet, the Boulevard 7000

Manufactured from dyed nylon yarn, the Boulevard 7000 has been developed for installation in education, retail, healthcare and commercial office environments.

Alike Gradus’ existing barrier carpets, the Boulevard 7000 has been designed to reduce the risk of slip accidents, associated with hard floor finishes, whilst reducing the amount of dirt and moisture tracked in from outside.

With a contemporary linear design and four colour options – Red Oak, Hazelnut, Grey Birch and Black Ash – available, the product is both aesthetically-pleasing and functional. It benefits from a heavy scraper fibre, which retains moisture and removes dirt, making it suitable for application in areas prone to water damage or heavy wear.

The barrier carpet can be used in conjunction with a primary entrance mat; alternatively, it can be applied as stand-alone matting in access points and entrances. It is supplied in sheet format, at 2 metres wide.

Although the Boulevard 7000 is supported by a ten-year wear warranty, correct maintenance can extend its life and the lifespan of the floorcoverings surrounding it.
