REHAU has met a key element in its energy policy by achieving the ISO 50001 Energy Management Certificate for its UK manufacturing and warehousing facilities.
The certification covers its Blaenau and Amlwch plants in North Wales, where the fenestration and renewables specialist produces its PVC-U window and door systems and district heating pipework, as well as its UK warehouse in Runcorn and its headquarters in Ross-on-Wye.
REHAU first implemented ISO 50001 in 2014 at its German plants, which helped the process in the UK fast and efficient. In achieving the certification, REHAU now complies with ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme), the government’s mandatory energy assessment and energy saving identification programme.
