The Grand Hotel in Swansea has benefited from a new heavy duty luxury vinyl flooring solution developed by Polyflor.
Local flooring contractor DM Flooring and Tiling installed the Affinity255 vinyl tiles in Huckleberry Oak (pictured above) for the hotel restaurant; Smoked Walnut in the corridors and a Herringbone design in the conference rooms.
Available in 16 wood plank designs, the durable Affinity 255 range has been designed for high traffic commercial environments, with a 2mm gauge so that they could be easily installed alongside other 2mm vinyl sheet flooring from Polyflor’s heterogenous, homogeneous and slip resistant safety flooring ranges.
Cross linked and UV cured polyurethane reinforcement is also used to protect the floor and offer a simple cleaning regime for areas where hygiene is of utmost importance.
The Affinity255 range boasts impressive environmental credentials, with a BRE A+ rating in major use areas and Indoor Air Comfort Gold, ensuring that VOC emissions are kept below any globally determined levels.
The vinyl tiles are also made up of 40% recycled content on average and are entirely recyclable under the Recofloor recycling scheme.
