  • 19 Oct 2016

Day two of UK Construction Week at the NEC in Birmingham featured a host of discussions covering recruitment, 3D printing and the northern powerhouse, as well as more of the latest innovations and products making their debut at the show.

Kicked off by business journalist Steph McGovern, the first debate of the day discussed how the northern powerhouse will become more important in post-referendum Britain. Panelists included speakers from BAM Nuttal, Muse Developments, Aecom and ICE Northern Powerhouse Steering Group.

Further discussions looked at how each sector within the construction industry was reacting in the aftermath of Brexit and the depreciation of sterling.
