The zero carbon standard for all major residential developments in London from 1st October 2016 is now in effect. Stroma Tech is offering a free seminar covering the key implications of the standard, including the consideration of offset payments to bridge the gap between the 35 percent carbon emission reduction target and 100 percent.
Stroma Tech consultants will offer a brief history of zero carbon homes, as well as advice on delegate’s energy statement strategies for the implementation of low or zero carbon (LZC) technologies and how to minimise carbon offset payments.
The seminar will also cover CHP and district heating; the impact on mixed use developments; what it means for delegates projects; impact on design approach; cost impact of carbon offsetting and issues and solutions.
Aimed at residential developers, architects, designers, planning consultants and contractors, the zero carbon seminar will take place on Tuesday 13th December 2016 at the Saint Gobain Innovation Centre, London.
