Door-Stop has added Exitex MDS25, a new wider threshold option, to its range of standard and FD30 doors.
In direct response to customer feedback, Door-Stop designed the Exitex MDS25 to provide a wider threshold.
At 115mm wide, it allows enough space for wheelchairs to enter and exit smoothly. EPDM rubber seals ensure longevity; a compression rebate seal, which has been tested to 150Pa air and water, offers protection against adverse weather conditions.
The Part M-compliant threshold also benefits from an improved thermal break.
Alike the company’s other products, the Exitex MDS25 is a Genuine Door-Stop door: it is both police approved and weatherproof. A secure guarantee promises the homeowner a replacement door, should the locking mechanism fail in the event of a break in.
The new threshold will be available in a variety of custom colours, from cream and grey, to duck-egg blue and chartwell green.
