REHAU AGILA fire door

AGILA fire door now available in the North West

  • 2 Nov 2016

REHAU’s AGILA fire door, first revealed at the FIT Show 2016, is now available from a network of selected fabricators.

Euroglaze and Shepley, based in Barnsley and Manchester respectively, have both been fully trained by REHAU in the manufacture of AGILA doors, having successfully completed their fabrication trials. Skelmersdale-based Hart & Co will also offer the service after completing training in early 2017.

The AGILA fire door has been fully tested by Exova BM TRADA to a 30 minute fire rating, in a full range of configurations including top and sidelight combinations, using a choice of Distinction door slabs, Lorient intumescent, Yale locks, Fullex hinges, and Kerto laminated timber, Exitex low threshold and an Astra self closer.

The AGILA fire door is faster to fabricate than REHAU’s original RAUFERNO fire door, according to REHAU, and has been value engineered so that it is a more cost effective option for specifiers.

Alongside the AGILA fire door, REHAU offers the 30 minute fire rated RAUFERNO window, a PVC-U window complete with a AOV which complies with the EN12101-2 governing natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators.
