Klober has developed a solution for exposed locations that are susceptible to roofing materials being dislodged in the form of its Trapac Tile & Snow Guard.
A Freedom of Information request to Aviva has revealed that there is a growing risk of heavy wind and sub-zero temperatures causing storm damage to homes and commercial buildings.
On steep pitched roofs, débris are more likely to fall after becoming detached during storms, creating a serious hazard for people below – with one Aviva claimant receiving as much as £13,500 for injury from a falling roof tile.
To protect against wind and snow-related damage, Klober’s Trapac Tile & Snow Guard has been designed to catch tile and mortar fragments, whilst allowing water to pass through its grid as snow melts.
The Tile & Snow Guard comes complete with support brackets suitable for flat or profiled concrete interlocking tiles that are lightweight and easy to install, with no additional support battens needed.
