‘The New Part Q & What it Means for You’ is a new RIBA-certified core curriculum CPD developed by timber window and door manufacturer Bereco.
The seminar focuses on the requirements of windows and doors under the building regulations Approved Document Q Security-Dwellings. It provides advice and guidance on key subjects, including regulatory compliance through to the sustainability in the built environment.
The hour-long CPD clears up the difference between Part Q and the similar Secured by Design regulation and aims to provide delegates with an understanding of what property types are covered by the regulation, as well as which products fall within its scope.
‘The New Part Q’ covers how easily accessible windows and doors are defined in Part Q and communicates the standards of security performance needed.
