New KitFix microsite addresses offsite construction

  • 8 Dec 2016

KitFix is a new microsite launched by the window and door manufacturer Sidey for the offsite construction market.

KitFix promotes Sidey’s system of the same name which addresses the needs of offsite manufacturers, provides sector solutions through its blogs and news section.

Offsite construction delivers cost savings through reduced on site construction times, faster delivery to enable people to be housed more quickly, enhanced quality control and improved ‘as-built’ performance.

The method also contributes towards reduced running costs for residents, fewer delays, a systems approach to construction, collaborative working practices to deliver better outcomes more consistently, and onsite health and safety benefits.
