Pegler Yorkshire has expanded the size options available on its stainless steel XPress Press Fit range of fittings up to 168mm.
The XPress stainless steel range can now be fitted up to 25 bar, subject to application submittal and prior approval. The new 140mm and 168mm larger sized press fittings allow for greater flexibility on large scale installations.
XPress fittings require no threading machinery or grooving and negate the need for a hot works permit as no heat or jointing compounds are needed to complete the jointing procedure. The fittings also benefit from a “Leak Before Press” feature which instantly identifies joints that have been assembled correctly but left unpressed.
The larger sized XPress fittings can be used on hot and cold water systems, chilled water services and fire protection systems by using the AC0401 press tool and slings to compress them onto 316 and 304 tubes.
There is also flange adaptors available for Pegler Yorkshire valves to complete the system.
