Introducing Fibo: the new name in bathroom wall panels

  • 13 Jan 2017

The bathroom and wet room wall panel distributor, Fibo, has rebranded its UK division to align its business with its European division. Launched in the UK as Respatex in 1981, the name change coincides with rapid growth in the UK, supported by a £14 million plant investment in its Norwegian factory and headquarters to double capacity.

Fibo provide a modern alternative to ceramic tiling for bathrooms and wet rooms. The range comprises five bathroom collections, ideal for both refurbishment and new construction projects, with solutions suitable for high-end domestic properties, hotels, leisure centres and social housing.

The wall panels utilise Fibo’s Aqualock installation system, meaning they can be fitted easily to existing walls, tiles or stud partitioning up to five times faster than traditional tiles through a simple tongue-and-groove system.

Manufactured from laminated birch, the wall panels can be specified with PVC or brushed aluminium profile edges, whilst Fibo’s superior ranges also benefit from 3D grooves to replicate a grouting effect.

The wall panels’ design is inspired by its Scandinavian origins, with a focus on simplicity, precision and quality. The range also comes with a 15 year guarantee.

With two warehouses in England and Scotland, Fibo panels are supplied through a network of builders’ merchants in the UK.
