Leading provider of wall, roof and landscaping innovations, Wienerberger has announced that it will be working in close partnership with Construction Products Europe (CPE) in order to spearhead digitalisation of the sector.
Head of Built Environment at Wienerberger, Paul Surin is set to work with CPE throughout 2017 as part of the investment, to launch the new initiative named Task Group Digitalisation. Paul will coordinate raising the profile of Building Information Modelling (BIM) as convenor of this task group.
The main priority will be the development of a smart CE marking initiative and its proof of concept, said Paul Surin. He added that the group is encouraging associates across Europe to get behind the new initiative so that the sector can have a more efficient and sustainable future for the industry as a whole.
