Schueco UK is launching three new high-quality systems as part of its sun-shading offering. It has introduced two large louvre blade ALB systems and the third utilises C-shaped and Z-shaped blades.
The ALB system is the first from Schueco for 2017 and provides sun-shading, unaffected by wind. Architects have maximum design freedom as the system incorporates large louvre blades in a variety of different geometries, colours and arrangements. The blades may be specified in an active configuration when mounted vertically.
Sheet metal profiles mounted on a carrier tube form the blades in this ‘hi-tech’ system. Due to its flat top side, blades of differing contours can be attached.
New rectangular and parallelogram shaped blades feature on the second Schueco ALB system, with the opportunity to be installed vertically or horizontally and may be passive or active. Therefore, architects and planners can tailor the system to a building.
The system provides benefits such as maximum light penetration, reduced thermal loading and increased internal comfort.
The louvre blades are available in the widths 250mm, 300mm and 400mm with the option of 300mm parallelogram blades. The system can be seamlessly attached to Schueco windows and facades by means of standard interfaced and is wind-proof.
C-shaped and Z-shaped louvre blades have been included in Schueco’s third new sun-shading system, providing year-round weather protection, unaffected by wind or rain, and perfect shading solution. In addition, the system can protect a building against birds and insects.
The blades are available in a wide range of geometries and widths and can be configured as horizontal or cantilevered shading. Therefore, it is simple to plan and install a system on large areas of wall or facade.
The distances between the blades can be altered depending on local conditions and the position of the sun, easily reducing thermal loads. Installation is easy with ‘stacking’ and a variety of fixing options.
