Abloy UK will be showcasing its comprehensive range of access control solutions and locking technology at the upcoming Security & Counter Terror Expo (SCTX) 2017.
SCTX is aimed at professionals who are responsible for protecting governments, businesses, national infrastructure and entire nations against terrorism. It is scheduled to take place at London’s Olympia centre from 3rd to 4th May.
Abloy will be at the show to discuss the role access control technology can play in preventing potential terror attacks, by providing a quick and efficient response.
The company’s stand will play host to its complete range of locking solutions: LPCB-rated padlocks, low energy electric locks, and its flagship PROTEC2 CLIQ Connect system will all be on display, with interactive demonstrations by Abloy’s staff.
Abloy will explain how its products can be used to achieve dynamic lockdown.
By combining PROTEC2 CLIQ – a web-based security system, which allows for the remote management of electronic master-keyed sites – with Abloy padlocks and electric locks, specifiers can create a bespoke security solution, designed to ensure maximum protection.
To achieve dynamic lockdown, an organisation needs to be able to restrict access and egress to a certain site, building, or areas within a building.
Offering audit trails on cylinders and padlocks by recording the use of each key, PROTEC2 CLIQ provides an efficient tracking system. As users can remove permissions for lost and stolen keys from anywhere in the world, the system ensures dynamic lockdown can be achieved.
The latest update to the system, CLIQ Connect, enables users to update keys from their smartphones, enhancing the security credentials of the solution.
