Allgood has introduced a new FSB ASL bearing to the UK market, offering a variety of technical advantages and opening up a myriad of design possibilities.
With the removal of the black guide ring used on the outgoing bearing, will offer various advantages for architects and interior designers with a cleaner transition from lever neck to rose.
The new FSB ASL bearing can be used for door levers and doorknob applications and can be used for both right-hand and left-hand use. In addition, it is available as a round or square rose with aluminium, stainless steel, brass and bronze finishes, therefore providing design flexibility for architects. The adaptor system caters for door thicknesses from 39mm to 58mm, too.
The bearing is sprung, reducing wear on the lock and preventing the handle from sagging over time. It has been designed to complement some of FSB’s heavier lever handles. Longevity is therefore ensured for bust commercial and residential environments, and has resulted in BS EN1906 Class 4 classification.
Both Allgood and FSB are known for manufacturing ironmongery of high quality and superior design and Allgood’s Product Manager, Richard van den Bos said that it is delighted to be offering UK customers the latest product innovation.
Precision engineering and discrete design is demonstrated in the new FSB ASL bearing. The bearing will also act as a catalyst for new ironmongery designs with additional strength that previously has not been available.
