Charcon enhances Infilta permeable block paving with improved visual appeal

  • 17 Mar 2017

Aggregate Industries’ commercial hard landscaping division, Charcon, has enhanced its successful Infilta permeable block paving range by incorporating a new design element.

The range has been updated to feature nibs that end 13mm short of the face of the block, creating a unique block paving solution that doesn’t affect the interlocking performance. It also maintains the aesthetic appeal by hiding the nibs from view.

Therefore, the product is a totally unique permeable paving solution with high water drainage performance, enabling water to drain away through the gaps. Hardwearing and offering durability and grip, it is also equipped for all trafficked applications including car parks, retail areas and other heavy use commercial locations such as HGV loading areas.

Ecopave Textured, Andover Washed, Andover Textured and StoneMaster are available for the new offering, and designers can also choose from a variety of textures and colour options, such as Grey Fleck, Pink Granite, Sandy Buff and Rustic.

Charcon’s Category Manager, Mike Davis said the new straight edges provide both a cleaner and more contemporary finish and enhance the design options available as architects and specifiers are now able to opt to have Infilta laid alongside and in combination with a vast range of standard paving. In addition, Infilta is part of Charcon’s Life range of products, ideal for sustainable specification.
