Dedicated Imperial team offers solutions to brick problems

  • 29 Mar 2017

Imperial Bricks will be exhibiting its comprehensive product portfolio at Materials 2017, which is set to take place on 25th and 26th April at London’s ILEC Conference Centre.

Brick experts will be on hand to help the specifiers, developers, and architects that are expected to visit the show to select the right bricks for different renovation, extension, and new build projects.

They will be able to help visitors to address common issues, such as how to specify and source the correct materials for conservation areas or Listed projects, where imperial-sized bricks are required. Visitors can also seek advice on how to recognise regional variations in brick colour, texture, and size.

Brick matching service

On the stand, Imperial Bricks will also be offering a brick matching service. Using this expertise, the company was able to match the existing, heritage brickwork on Ledbury’s Master’s House (pictured above) in a recent restoration scheme.

Its in-house facilities were used to create a custom blend with a reclamation finish, matching the region, age, and style of the property in question.

Materials 2017

In addition to providing advice and sharing its expertise, Imperial Bricks will also be displaying its complete range of 35 bricks, which includes wirecut, pressed, traditional handmade, and reclamation bricks and slips. It will be offering free samples and special show discounts.

Complementary products, such as its Limetec hydraulic lime mortar, will be on display. Bebbingtons brick tinting solutions will showcase the possibilities of bespoke weathering, and its suitability for brick matching practices.
