Visqueen Building Products has launched a range of waterproofing liquid membranes compliant with all the criteria outlined in the BS8102 code of practice for below-ground waterproofing, as well as the latest version of NHBC’s Chapter 5.4.
The Visqueen Axion liquid waterproofing range is the result of in-depth market research and a comprehensive development programme, suitable for a wide array of applications and fully compatible with the brand’s full range of structural waterproofing products.
In addition to meeting all the latest codes and regulations, the Visqueen Axion liquid waterproofing range is both easy to use and price competitive, without compromising on its high standard of technical performance.
The range provides solutions to many below ground waterproofing applications, and ensures that surface or complex detailing, such as irregular profiles and penetrations, are fully sealed and waterproof. They can also waterproof porous surfaces such as blockwork in a single coat.
In addition, the Axion Guard single part liquid waterproofing membrane within the range can be used for external tanking, basements and substructures. The membrane is ready to use straight from the time, and uses a twin-coloured system to ensure easy identification per coat, with high coverage rates and a thickening agent to enable self-supporting.
Phil Bull, Sales Director, Visqueen Building Products, commented: “The issue of ensuring complete waterproofing protection in complex construction details has long been a challenge on most building sites.
The unique attributes of our Axiom range offer an advanced solution in line with all the latest regulations, while delivering excellent value and quality, to safeguard the integrity of a build in extreme conditions and difficult applications.”
Visqueen also offer waterproofing ranges including self-adhesive, torchon and pre-applied membranes.
