A comprehensive fascia and soffit system designed and manufactured by Alumasc Skyline has been installed at a prestigious new-build residence in Jersey.
Designed with extensive use of glass panels and white render with granite cladding, the property has been developed on the site of a deteriorated 1930s house, complete with a home gym, cinema and swimming pool.
Its eco-friendly design was created by Paul Van Bodegom of Page Architects, and utilises extensive landscaping and ecology work “where quality and style combine”.
A bespoke solution, created by Alumasc Skyline and supplied through builders’ merchant Precision Plastics, was implemented into the final design. The system comprised a challenging soffit design that would fit with extremely awkward overhangs, along with a specially tailored nosing fascia and rainwater pipe systems.
Available in a wide range of colours, the soffits and fascia were both specified in white to complement the light, airy aesthetic.
It was noted that Alumasc Skyline’s hands-on expertise played an important role in the company being awarded the contract. Technical Sales Manager Ivan Colvil visited the site numerous time to advise on the design of the products and ensure the architect’s vision was achieved.
