Ellis Patents has appointed Stuart Helm as its new national sales manager.

Stuart will take on responsibility for the company’s UK sales presence, under the guidance of global sales director, Tony Conroy. He will be working with Ellis’ existing customer base, whilst identifying and developing new sales opportunities across the country.

He will also liaise with key distributors, such as ETS Cable Components and MacLean Electrical.

Stuart comes from a sales background, having previously held the role of product sales manager for Deep Sea Electronics. Ellis’ commitment to bespoke product development will give him the opportunity to promote a combination of standard products and customised systems for individual applications.

The company’s sales currently accounts for half of its annual turnover. Thus, a strong team is important to drive further success. As Tony Conroy asserts: ‘It doesn’t matter how good your product is if you don’t have a high quality sales team on-board. Stuart has the skills et required to prosper in this role.’
