Schiedel to exhibit chimney systems at Hearth & Home show

  • 21 Apr 2017

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Schiedel Chimney Systems will be exhibiting at the Hearth & Home show, which is scheduled to take place from 11th – 13th June at Harrogate International Centre.

Since the launch of its B Vent product in 1967, Schiedel Chimney Systems has developed its portfolio of chimneys, connecting flue pipes, and flue liners to offer energy efficient and eco-friendly solutions.

Fifty years on, the company has embraced modern technology, utilising a new-look website to showcase its portfolio. Useful documents and literature can be downloaded from the website, or accessed via the Schiedel App, which enables heating installers to check technical information and register product warranties on the go.

The company’s steel chimney systems can be specified to suit stoves, open fires, and gas and oil appliances. Its complete product range has been approved for use in eco-design houses, such as Passivhaus and timber-framed buildings.

A selection of Schiedel’s systems will be on display at the upcoming Hearth & Home exhibition, including its ICID range of Twin Wall Insulation System Chimneys.

Its Double Module (DM) system, which has been designed to maximise chimney insulation, will also be on display, along with its Pumice liners, which can be used to reline existing masonry chimneys or insulate new ones.

In addition, Schiedel’s stand will host its Ignis Protect wall pass thru’ systems, which have been developed specifically for airtight and energy efficient timber-framed buildings. Available in both 90° and 45° versions, the system is suitable for SW and DW connecting flue pipes.

Visitors to stand D130 will be able to find out more information about the company’s HETAS training courses, which are running from its purpose-built facility in Washington, Newcastle.
