Freefoam launch Anthracite Gutter for a fully coordinated roofline

  • 17 May 2017

Freefoam has announced a significant increase in orders for Anthracite Grey fascia and soffit over traditional white products. Homeowners can now create a fully coordinated roofline with the introduction of Freefoam’s new Anthracite Gutter.

Introduced in 2016, the Anthracite Grey rainwater range is an exact match (RAL No. 7016) to the fascia and soffit products. The new Anthracite Gutter has a depth of 77mm and a 116mm width, and is designed to manage the increasing levels of rainfall in the UK.

Manufactured using co-extruded PVC-U, the Anthracite Gutter is available with a host of matching fittings including Union Brackets, Running Outlets and Hoppers.

The Freeflow range provides a leak free and low maintenance solution that comes complete with a ten year guarantee.

Co-extruded to reduce leaks

Freefoam’s Anthracite Grey products use the same co-extrusion method as the rest of the Freeflow rainwater system, to create a white interior and darker exterior colours.

This is done to resolve problems associated with rapid heat absorption and expansion of dark coloured gutters, which can cause leaks and noise when cooling down.

The white interior reduces heat absorption and expansion along with width and length, decreasing the likelihood of leaks.

Built-in colour stability

Manufactured with Colormax technology, Freefoam’s Anthracite Grey rainwater range uses an advanced master-batching process with natural PVC and pigments that are simultaneously co-extruded to produce built in colourfastness, colour variety, and reliable colour matching with a ten-year guarantee.

Colin St John, UK General Manager, commented: “The Anthracite Grey rainwater range offers architects, specifiers, builders, developers and home improvement companies the opportunity to create a perfectly coordinated roofline.

We have established ourselves as leaders in the manufacture of colour PVC building products and this option is another example of how Freefoam are producing products that allow customers to meet the growing market place demands for colour.”
