Bona has launched Bona Titan, its new new silane-based adhesive which has been designed to guarantee a high quality bond.
Bona Titan has been developed to bond all kinds of wood flooring. Its strength makes it suitable for use with oversized, solid boards, or in high value projects where a secure bond is required.
Its strength can be attributed to Titanium Technology, a new formula comprising quadruple cross-linking to ensure a prompt initial bond speed, and durability. The silane-based formula contains no ingredients that can migrate after curing, eliminating the risk of discolouration at the joints.
The consistency of the product ensures the creation of stable ribs, a high initial grab and no risk of hollow spots.
Providing the subfloor is sound and dry, the product can be used without primer.
Compatible with underfloor heating systems, Bona Titan can be used directly on metal or tiles. Floors bonded with the product can be sanded after twelve hours.
In accordance with Bona’s environmental policy, Bona Titan is a safe and clean formulation which carries EC1-R Plus, DIBt, Greenguard and A+ low emission certificates. It also boasts compliance with ISO 17178 standards.
