VELUX extends curved glass rooflight range

  • 30 May 2017

VELUX has extended its curved glass rooflight portfolio with three additional sizes.

Designed specifically for flat roofs, the VELUX curved glass rooflight is now available in eight different sizes. The company’s increased offering gives homeowners greater flexibility when specifying roof windows to match varying room sizes.

With recent research revealing that over two thirds of flat roof extensions feature no glazing, VELUX’s rooflight offers a wealth of benefits for those looking to introduce more daylight into their home.

Comprising an insulating PVC frame and a double-glazed inner pane, the system prevents heat from escaping, helping to maintain indoor climate.

The glass is toughened against adverse weather conditions, whilst the PVC material used on the interior frame is maintenance-free and easy to clean.

VELUX has also included a programmable control pad, which offers remote control operation for rooflights that may be installed out-of-reach. Pre-fitted rain sensors ensure that the rooflights close automatically in the event of rain.

The curved glass flat roof windows are installed in the same way as other VELUX models, using the same base units as the existing range.
