Aluprof has opened a new office at the Business Design Centre in Islington, to deal with the increasing number of façade specifications using the company’s high performance architectural aluminium systems.
Staffed by full-time architectural advisors, the office provides a drop-in centre, offering specification advice and support to architects across the city and the South East.
Since opening, demand for Aluprof’s RIBA approved CPD – The Use of Glazed Screens to Control the Spread of Smoke & Fire in Buildings – has doubled.
Wojciech Brozyna, Aluprof’s managing director, commented: “Our aluminium systems are becoming well known and increasingly specified by architects in London. To ensure that we can respond to requests for advice and support we felt it was necessary to have a permanent presence in the city.”
