Imperial Bricks teams up to offer brick tinting

  • 31 Aug 2017

Imperial Bricks has teamed up with Bebbington to sell its masonry colour correction products and offer an on-site brick tinting service.

Colourfast inorganic metallic oxides are blended with either potassium silicate or vinyl acetate to form colours designed for weathering, colour correction or, in bespoke applications, lightening of brickwork.

Bebbington tinting is a permanent solution that does not seal the face of the brickwork, crucial in avoiding frost damage.

Jason Hughes, Managing Director of Imperial Bricks says: “Bebbington’s brick tinting is the perfect solution to blend newer bricks and mortar with original brickwork when a suitable match isn’t available. It’s a fantastic ‘add-on’ product that works perfectly with our range of bricks for renovation and refurbishment projects.”

Mark Bebbington, Managing Director of Bebbington adds: “The agreement with Imperial will extend our reach across the UK and increase sales throughout the builders’ merchant network. Because our products were designed specifically with bricks in mind, this partnership enhances both Imperial’s and Bebbington’s offering to the end user.”
