UKCW offers free CPDs to address safety concerns

  • 11 Sep 2017

UK Construction Week is focusing on the importance of deeper awareness, understanding and immediately applicable information, which has been highlighted by the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

Following the tragedy, focus in the building industry is very much on safety and therefore, UK Construction Week with participation from various specialists and experts, has put together a programme of free CPD seminar and workshops to run at three different hubs.

The sessions will cover numerous topics from fire prevention and flammable materials to more general health and safety knowledge, occupier wellbeing and how technology can assist in improving safety.

Each hub of the nine shows is also running individual education programmes within their dedicated zones, including the Surface & Materials Show at its innovation hub curated by the Material Lab.

In addition, you can attend talks at the main stage from the Fire Sector Federation, National Fire Chiefs, the Fire Protection Association & RISC Authority, the Centre for Window & Cladding Technology and the National Social Housing Fire Strategy Group.

You can register to attend the free sessions here and view the full CPD schedule here.
