Silva Timber provides contemporary cladding for new gym and spa

  • 26 Oct 2017

Silva Timber recently supplied cladding and decking for a new gym and spa in the Bryn Tanat Hall grounds.

An existing steel frame was used as the base for the new facilities, whilst Western Red Cedar was used to create a path running alongside the new building, because of its durability.

Fine sawn tongue and groove cladding was used, a bi-product of the two highest grades of Western Red Cedar – therefore, mostly clear but will contain a few more natural characteristics.

A natural contemporary style was created by the fine sawn cladding, used alongside the building.

Finally, Owatrol Seasonite was applied to provide protection from moisture damage.
