CA Group Limited is celebrating 20 years since the introduction of the Twin-Therm roof and wall system.
Since it’s release, the system has changed the face of modern warehouse design, developed to ensure safety for those working at height and meet building regulations.
Neville Colegrove, founder and trustee member, explained: “Since its introduction in 1977, the Twin-Therm system has continued to evolve as a solution to some of the most common frustrations caused by the use of profiled sheets.
“Innovations have included sustainable measures to maximise airtightness, the introduction of natural lighting and the elimination of leaks, as well as improved acoustics, U-values and fire protection.”
CA Group also introduced a range of curved roofing solutions to maximise space within the warehouse. In addition, recent internal climate control capability enables the multi functionality of warehouses as either a chill or cold store.
The manufacturing of many of the component parts has be brought in house to allow CA Group to offer a non-fragility guarantee of up to 40 years, with extensive testing of the assembled system.
