Gloucestershire property developer Freeman Homes has scooped Best Residential Development at a prestigious awards show, the 2017 UK International Property Awards.

The second-generation family business collected the coveted five-star award for its Northleach development at the ceremony, hosted by the Royal Lancaster London on October 27.

The UK Property Awards are the biggest, most widely-recognised awards programme in the country, celebrating the highest levels of achievement  within the property sector.

An independent panel of 70 industry experts judge the competition, with businesses being credited for design, quality, innovation, service, originality, and dedication to sustainability.

Located on the fringes of the Gloucestershire market town, The Westwood, a bespoke development of 35 three and four-bedroom properties and Westcombe Place, a range of exclusive five-bedroom homes overlooking open countryside, feature Cotswold stone detailing, slate roofs and timber windows that showcase the region’s architecture.

Joint CEO of the company, Luke Freeman spoke of his delight for being given the ‘Best Residential Development’ award for the second consecutive year .

Last year, Freeman Homes collected the same prize for their development in Llangrove, Herefordshire.

“It is fantastic that once again the quality of our designs and workmanship has been recognised at national level. Freeman Homes’ reputation is based on delivering high quality, individual homes in beautiful locations,” commented Luke.

“We offer a rare alternative to today’s volume, mass market developments so we’re delighted that the judges have acknowledged our innovative building style.”
