ASSA ABLOY Security Doors has created a new high-security doorset, designed specifically for upmarket residential developments, which follows a heavy demand from architects, specifiers and contractors.
The UK division of ASSA ABLOY and global leader in door opening solutions’ latest product sees robust protection meet a premium finish, with the bespoke doorset solution combining detailed visual with elite protection.
Taken from the organisation’s high security Safeguard timber range, the new doorset comes with the massively popular Pickersgill-Kaye multi-point locking system, discretely morticed into the door.
The doors can be designed with a whole host of features; raised and fielded panelling, specialist wood veneers and other bespoke finishes, providing a door that comes with high levels of security that also blends in with the interior features of a high-end residential building.
All ironmongery is fitted at ASSA ABLOY Security Door’s manufacturing facility, allowing the doorset to be delivered already installed.
Regional Sales Manager at ASSA ABLOY Security Doors, Nigel Cronin, commented: “This tailored solution is a response from architects, specifiers and contractors, requiring doorsets for clients that must deliver strong protection with a premium, high-end look.
“Applications for the doors include front entrances, safe refuges and strong rooms.
“With the capability to build custom-made doorsets, based on individual, site-specific requirements, this new offering satisfies a need for safety and security but not at the expense of aesthetics.”
