Design Centre brings the Christmas magic to London with new installation

  • 19 Dec 2017

London’s Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour has been given a festive makeover by illuminating its glass domes with a Twinkle of Christmas installation.

The Twinkle of Christmas installation aims to bring Narnia to life, encouraging visitors to step through a wardrobe into an immersive visual experience resembling a winter forest. Some 6,500 snowballs hang from the ceiling of the dome, illuminated by glitterballs and projections.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to try on the coats in the wardrobe, take a walk through Christmas fir trees topped with snow and sit in a sleigh full of throws and cushions.

The Twinkle of Christmas installations were created and designed by Tony Marklew, incorporating products from Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. You can visit the installation right up until 22nd December for free!
