Rubelli has created an exclusive fabric for the displays of the windows of Tiffany & Co, featuring at flagship stores worldwide, including at its Fifth Avenue outlet in New York and New Bond Street in London.
The Venetian fabric and furniture design house have created Costellazioni, a pattern consisting of a series of snowflake motifs, joined together by dotted lines to convey the ethereal effect of a wonderful starry night.
Limitless skill and unnerving precision helped achieve the intricate depth of graphic detail featured in the pattern, with Costellazioni being produced at the recently expanded Rubelli mill.
It is available in three different colours; midnight blue, Tiffany blue and turquoise, all adorned with delicate snowflakes.
Chief Executive Officer at Rubelli, Andrea Favaretto Rubelli, commented on a visit to the store in the Big Apple.
“I was privileged to visit the ‘Factory of Dreams’ on the top floor of New York City historic Tiffany flagship store, where artisans create magnificent custom jewellery that are true works of art, without compromising on quality.
“I can clearly see a surprising connection between New York and Venice in their talent and passion, matching that of Rubelli designers and master weavers.
“I hope that it’s the first visible link in this connection; when silk and diamonds come together, dreamland can only be just around the corner!”
