Mitsubishi Electric introduces new R32 models to wall-mounted range

  • 18 Jan 2018

Mitsubishi Electric has launched announced the expansion of its wall-mounted offering, with the addition of new R32 models with the new MSZ-AP range of wall-mounted units.

The new units offer energy efficiency combined with a modern, white design and give installers more choice and flexibility.

The company aims to make it as easy as possible for the industry to move away from existing refrigerants to increase energy efficiency, with ratings of either A+++ or A++.

The use of R32 refrigerant much lower global warming potential than R410A. Carl Dickinson, product specialist for the company comments: “The price of R410A is also rising significantly month by month so we want to ensure that both customers and installers not only have an alternative, but also get the added benefit of increased performance and advanced controls.”

Other benefits of the unit include double vanes to distribute airflow evenly, weekly timers to control scheduling, and a built in Wi-Fi interface within the MSZ-AP range to enable full control and monitoring via the MELCloud app.
