A&B Engineering chooses Stroma BIM Certification

A&B Engineering Ltd becomes the latest construction industry organisation to opt for BIM Certification from leading body Stroma Certification.

The certification for BIM is provided in line with the PAS 1192-2:2013 standard, which the current mandated construction standard for centrally procured public sector contracts.

This will allow A&B Engineering (Mechanical Division) to provide confidence to different parties (including construction clients) when offering their services. 

Liverpool-based A&B Engineering offer their clients design and installation services for mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Possessing approximately 70 years experience in service provision to their clients; this BIM Certification shows they are committed to delivering their services compliant with BIM Level 2 related standards.

For over 10 years, Stroma Certification has developed certification schemes for the industry.

Stephen Burns, BIM Manager of A&B Engineering (Mechanical Division), said: “We are pleased to achieve BIM level 2 certification as it now allows us to further demonstrate our understanding and commitment to the process.”
