Gilberts Blackpool, developer of air movement solutions, is offering students at University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) the opportunity to ‘lunch and learn’.
Mechanical engineering and building services students will have the opportunity to attend a session focussed on the selection processes in specifically grilles and diffusers for projects.
Practical demonstrations will take place in Gilberts’ in-house test facility with smoke tests to show diverse airflow patterns depending on grille and diffused configuration.
In addition, students benefited from a presentation on the latest development in air movement technology-hybrid ventilation units, where Gilberts has been at the forefront of development.
The sessions are part of CPD level training programmes offered by Gilberts and can be delivered either at Gilberts’ state of the art facilities in Blackpool, or at recipient organisation’s premises.
