Leading sustainable building envelope specialist Schueco UK has recently unveiled a new version of its extremely popular ASS 77 PD panoramic door system.
The new door, called the Schueco ASE 67 PD, offers the same minimal sightlines, with an outer frame remaining concealed in the building structure, creating a large panoramic area of clear glass.
There are a number of additional benefits, including the door now being able to be configured in a whole host of opening combinations utilising two, three or four leaves.
Dependant on the particular specification and the level of insulation needed, the moving vent can be double or triple-glazed.
The Schueco ASE 67 PD door comes in two options, with differing outer frames, adopting a simplified method of construction which makes manufacturing easier.
The slimmer of the two options, with its 57 mm frame, is ideal for renovation projects, as it offers a lower overall frame cost but with no impact on the supreme levels of sound insulation.
Both versions offer an extremely slim central mullion width of 31 mm, with the ability to accommodate glass widths ranging from 36 mm to 49.6 mm.
A pair of locking options can be chosen from; one in the centre and one on the side. This ensures this new system offers maximum design flexibility, with a top notch level of security.
