Crown sponsors awards in milestone year

Crown Paints is the main sponsor of this year’s Painting and Decorating Association’s (PDA) prestigious Premier Trophy Awards.

The esteemed ceremony at the Plaisterers’ Hall, London on 5th July, is celebrating its 30th anniversary and will feature Philip Cefai, Crown’s Commercial Director, as guest speaker.

Jon Konsbruck, National Sales Manager Contractors/Specification at Crown Paints, said the company was ‘really privileged’ to be the main sponsor of the Awards, especially with it being a milestone anniversary.

He added that it is an event in everybody’s diaries in the painting and decorating industry so it is important for Crown Paints to support it and how they are looking forward to everybody coming together and celebrating the award winning work and achievements.

In its 30 year history, representatives from throughout the industry have converged on London for this event, which attracts a huge variety of entries over a number of categories, celebratinh the skill of association members, across all sizes of business.

Neil Ogilvie, Chief Executive of the PDA, said they were delighted to have Crown Paints as the main sponsor in this landmark year, adding the company is a strong supporter of the association and its members. and that they look forward to hearing more from them at the event.
