Polyflor‘s Expona Flow sheet vinyl flooring has recently featured at the new NGS Macmillan Unit at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
This centre for people affected by cancer throughout North Derbyshire contains Expona Flow PUR vinyl flooring in the Light Grey Concrete and Cool Concrete shades in the reception area, circulation areas, corridors, staircases and wards.
Macmillan Cancer Support has worked with Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to build the new cancer centre.
£2.5 million of the £9 million it cost to create it was raised by Macmillan, with a £1.5 million donation from the National Garden Scheme.
Ian Summers, Estates Project Engineer at Chesterfield Royal Hospital commented, said the Expona Flow concrete designs give a ‘sophisticated, modern look’ to the new unit that is ‘far removed from the clinical look of traditional hospitals.’
He added they have received great feedback on the interior design scheme.
Ideal for all manner of heavy commercial environments, in which high footfall levels are encountered, Expona Flow product samples can be ordered free of charge via the Polyflor website or by calling the Polyflor Samples Direct Hotline on 0161 767 2551.
