ASSA ABLOY UK‘s exclusive evening reception for architects, contractors and end users will discuss the partnership between design and performance.
The event, which takes place on Wednesday 16th May from 4.30pm to 6.00pm at 240 Blackfrairs, London, will also provide an ideal networking opportunity with industry peers.
A range of refreshments will be provided.
Two keynotes speakers at the event are Christof Ronge, Global Industrial Design Director at ASSA ABLOY, and Brian Sofley, Managing Director at ASSA ABLOY Security Doors.
Christof Ronge (above) possesses 25 years experience as an industrial designer, with the last decade spent in management and strategy for a number of global brands.
Christof will talk about his approach to industrial design, citing high profile case studies as examples.
Christof commented: “Quite rightly, architects and end users want their projects to be finished to a high aesthetic standard which fits into one coherent design theme.
“I have spent a number of years analysing how to integrate different products in order to make a finished design look seamless yet also unique in its own right, and I look forward to sharing my findings at this event.”
Brian (below) added: “At ASSA ABLOY we look to support specifiers who want to maintain a design identity without compromising on product performance.
“For example, the aesthetic quality of any door regardless of location, specification and material type should not be compromised regardless of performance expectation.
“This event will be the perfect platform to come together and chat about trends in industrial design, and how we can help enhance our customers’ visions within the built environment.”
ASSA ABLOY UK will offer attendees a first look at SMARTec high performance timber doors and the newly designed range of advanced door closers.
