Side panels from door-stop a potential lifesaver

  • 19 Apr 2018

door-stop International has announced the launch of its new glazed fire door side panels, available in nine frame colours and a triumvirate of glass styles.

Third party audited by CERTIFIRE, these panels are simply the ideal partner to one of the company’s very own fire doors.

The addition was introduced to complement its fire door range, launched in 2015, offering specifiers more options to meet fire safety requirements, with no compromise on visuals.

The side panels have been fully tested to FD30 standards and come with a seven-day delivery turnaround.

Patrick Dean, Head of Sales and Marketing at door-stop, commented: “Our side panels adhere to all of the same regulations as the fire door range.

“Rather than relying on global assessments, we have taken the steps to physically burn all side panel combinations as a complete doorset, in order to test their spread of fire capabilities.

“Fire door and side panels not only save lives, but they can also look good too. In fact, our new fire door side panels can be selected with frosted glass, which has a more modern and expensive feel than the usual offering of clear or wired aesthetics.

“What’s more, the doors are available in all of our contemporary colours, including Chartwell Green and Anthracite Grey.”

A genuine door-stop door comes with many benefits, including being weather-proof, police approved, energy efficient and coming with a secure guarantee.

They also come with a unique serial number, which can be registered on the door-stop website.
