Fibo UK‘s innovative range of bathroom and kitchen wall panels will be showcased at Housing 2018 at Manchester Central, from 26-28 June.
The yearly show and conference is the biggest of its kind, welcoming approximately 11,000 visitors every year, including housing associations, local authorities, housebuilders and contractors; Fibo will be at stand B22.
Fibo MD Scott Beattie described Housing 2018 as the ‘perfect opportunity’ to exhibit its unique wall panels to its target market.
He understood the importance for councils, housing associations and their residents to have confidence in the quality of products used in refurbishment projects and said that, whilst value for money could be a vital criteria, it does not necessarily mean the cheapest.
“Visitors at the show are looking for innovative and cost-effective solutions for their projects and we’re confident that our high-quality wall panels will exceed expectations,” he said.
With a unique 15-year guarantee, Fibo’s wall panels are a fine alternative to ceramic tiling for social housing, retirement homes and sheltered accommodation.
The panels can be fitted directly onto walls, stud partitioning or over existing tiles and Fibo’s patented Aqualock tongue-and-groove system means the panels simply click into place, ensuring quick and easy installation (up to five times faster than traditional tiles).
This means contractors have no need to sub-contract the job to tilers, saving further expenses and time.
Installation sees the panels fixed with screws and then finished with sealant between the joins; a large range of colours and finishes are available, so both local authorities and residents get the desired choice.
Furthermore, the fact there is no grouting means mould or dirt cannot get a foothold, so the panels can be kept clean and fresh by a simple wipe down.
