Reducing installation time and improving efficiency with Geberit

  • 27 Apr 2018

A pressing solution such as Geberit Mapress can deliver a host of installation benefits, with no need for inconvenient hot works or a cooling down period.

This is all the more important given installers continuously seek solutions to improve productivity and profitability; as a result, increasing numbers are opting for press fitting, as opposed to screwed and solder connections, due to its simplicity and time
saving potential.

All importantly, press fitting reduces installation time by roughly 30%, compared to more traditional processes.

Coloured pressing indicators offer easy identification of both material and unpressed joints during the installation process, with reduced flushing time and a cleaner installation process.

Antony Corbett, of Geberit, commented: “With multiple benefits, it’s no surprise that press fit systems are gaining such traction. Not only is the solution clean and easy to use, it also delivers reliable sealing, reduced risk and improved health and safety.”

Geberit also provides comprehensive training to guarantee installers get the very most out of every application, as well as to protect the standard of installations.
